What it feels like

Your thoughts move like honey off a spoon, unhurried and rich. Someone rushes you with a decision and something in you plants its feet. Call it stubbornness if you like, though it is really a wish to taste an idea properly before swallowing it. Once you have, you understand it in your body as well as your head, and that knowledge rarely leaves you.

Your voice is often the most soothing thing in a room. Plain words and a low, steady warmth are your style, and people trust what you say because you rarely say it for effect. Practical things charm you. Recipes, gardens, good tools and the right way to fold a jumper all hold your attention. Your best learning happens with your hands busy and nobody hurrying the lesson along.

Your gift

Staying power of mind. What you learn, you keep, and what you promise, you remember.

Your growing edge

Changing your mind can feel like moving furniture alone. New information deserves a little room, even when the old view is comfortable.

In love

You show care through steady words and remembered details, like the exact way someone takes their tea. Sweet talk means little to you without follow through.

In your work

Work that rewards patience and good judgement suits you, from design and cooking to craft and anything built to last.

How Mercury works

Your Mercury sign describes the way your mind moves, from how you think and learn to how you talk, joke and listen. It sets the speed of your thoughts and the flavour of your words. The house it sits in then shows where that busy mind likes to spend its time.
