Mercury in Capricorn

What it feels like
Your mind is an architect. Before you say something, you have usually checked whether it will hold weight. Rambling makes you twitch, and vague plans make you reach for a spreadsheet. Mastery is how you learn, step by step, and you trust facts that have been tested. Plenty of people mistake your caution for coldness until they hear you laugh.
Your humour is the best kept secret in any office. Deadpan and perfectly timed, it sneaks out when people least expect it. Serious conversations come naturally to you, and you are the friend people call when they need a plan rather than sympathy. Ambition shapes your thinking, and that steadiness grows more impressive as the years pass.
Strategy. You can turn a messy idea into a plan with clear steps and a sensible timeline.
Pessimism can pass for realism. Leave a little room for the hopeful answer, because sometimes it is the right one.
You show love through reliability, keeping your word and planning a future together. Grand speeches matter less to you than promises kept.
Management, engineering, architecture and any role with real responsibility suit you. You make complicated things run properly.
How Mercury works
Your Mercury sign describes the way your mind moves, from how you think and learn to how you talk, joke and listen. It sets the speed of your thoughts and the flavour of your words. The house it sits in then shows where that busy mind likes to spend its time.
