The third decan of Pisces

What the third decan of Pisces is like

Pluto lends intensity and insight. You are drawn to mysteries and to change that goes all the way down, and your intuition is a powerful gift.

Pluto rules this decan because it rules Scorpio, a water sign like Pisces.

The Pisces underneath

Pisces season closes the zodiac, the last weeks before spring, when the whole world holds its breath before beginning again. You carry a little of every sign inside you. You feel the currents under a conversation, you dream in full colour, and your kindness reaches people you will never meet.

How decans work

Each sign is thirty degrees of the zodiac, split into three decans of ten degrees, so the Sun spends about ten days in each. Hali uses the modern decan rulers, where each decan borrows the ruler of a sign of the same element. The older Chaldean system of Hellenistic astrology hands the decans to the seven classical planets in a fixed order instead, so some books name a different ruler.
