Sun MC line
Also called the Sun Midheaven line. On your Wanderlines map it's the Sun overhead line.
Your name travels faster here, and it usually arrives in good company
The Sun MC line maps every spot where the Sun stood overhead, at its highest point, when you were born. Your Sun crowns the relocated Midheaven there, which makes it a line of recognition, where work, reputation and public life tend to light up around you.
Where does your Sun MC line run?
Add your birth date, time and place. Hali draws your own Sun MC line on the map and names the cities it passes through.
Living on your Sun MC line
The first week feels like an audition you did not know you had booked. A colleague forwards your idea upstairs with your name still on it. Someone at a gallery opening says they have heard about you, and they mean it kindly. Here the spotlight finds you even when you are just buying bread, so you start dressing a little better for the bakery.
Stay a few seasons and the shine becomes something sturdier. Titles, invitations and a seat at the bigger table can follow, though the line asks you to keep showing up as the person who earned them. Some find it thrilling from the start. Others, especially the shy ones, need a while to stop apologising for being visible and simply let the light do its work.
Love here can look like admiration first, a partner who is proud to stand next to you at the party. Make sure there is room for the version of you who is off duty and wearing old socks.
Launches, promotions and being the face of the project all suit you here. Ambition stops feeling greedy, and people with authority seem to notice you sooner.
Home can become a base camp between public commitments, a place to recharge after long days in view. Keep one corner that nobody from work ever sees.
The harder side
When your sense of worth is tied to your title, a slow month at work can feel personal. Build a life outside the job here, with friends who knew you before the business cards.
Visit or stay
Good for a career season, a posting or the years when you are building a name. People who love a stage often stay for life, while private souls may prefer it as a place to work rather than rest.
The thing you have practised in private deserves a public name, and this is where it can get one.
Stand in the busiest square in town at noon, when the Sun is at its peak, and let yourself be seen for one whole minute without checking your phone. Then buy a good pen for signing things.
One line is one chapter. Your map holds the whole story.

Standing on this line puts Sun right on your relocated Midheaven, the doorway of your 10th house. In the chart for this place, it reads much like Sun in the 10th house.

What does the Sun MC line mean?
The Sun MC line maps every spot where the Sun stood overhead, at its highest point, when you were born. Your Sun crowns the relocated Midheaven there, which makes it a line of recognition, where work, reputation and public life tend to light up around you.
Is the Sun MC line good?
For most people, yes, especially if you want to be seen for your work. The Sun is warm and generous on the Midheaven, and the main cost is that privacy gets a little harder to come by.
Should I live on my Sun MC line?
Good for a career season, a posting or the years when you are building a name. People who love a stage often stay for life, while private souls may prefer it as a place to work rather than rest.
How close do I need to be to my Sun MC line?
Astrologers usually read a line as strongest within a few hundred kilometres, softening as you move away. A line through the ocean is felt most on the nearest coasts.
Do I need my exact birth time?
Yes. The Earth turns a little every minute, so a time a few minutes out moves every line east or west. Use the most exact time you can find, ideally from a birth certificate.
