Neptune MC line
Also called the Neptune Midheaven line. On your Wanderlines map it's the Neptune overhead line.
Your name drifts into rooms before you do, slightly mythical
The Neptune MC line marks out where Neptune hung directly overhead, culminating, when you were born. Here the planet of mist and music sits on your relocated Midheaven, linked with an inspired, mysterious public life, a calling that feels like a vocation and a reputation that can be hard to control.
Where does your Neptune MC line run?
Add your birth date, time and place. Hali draws your own Neptune MC line on the map and names the cities it passes through.
Living on your Neptune MC line
The city seems to have heard of you already, or at least of someone who looks a lot like you. Gallery owners linger at your table. A choir needs exactly your voice. Your work starts to be described with words like luminous and otherworldly, which feels wonderful and also slightly alarming, because nobody can quite say what your job is, including you.
Over a few seasons your public life becomes a kind of screen. Some find their true calling here, in the arts, in healing, in charity or in anything that serves something larger than a salary. Others find the career ladder turns to mist under their hands. Usually the difference is whether you chose the dream, or let the dream choose a job title for you.
Partners may fall a little in love with your public image. Keep a private life that is plain and warm, where nobody needs you to glow.
Film, music, photography, fashion, healing, ministry and charity work are classic Neptune MC callings. Get every agreement in writing, because handshakes here have a way of dissolving.
Long days of being admired can leave you strangely empty at night. Protect your evenings and keep one ordinary hobby that has no audience at all.
The harder side
Reputations made of mist can also be smudged by rumour, confusion or a boss who never quite explains what they want. Clear job descriptions, honest records and a trusted colleague to sanity check your choices go a long way.
Visit or stay
This line suits a season of creative work, a residency or a career in the arts, healing or service. It is a trickier long term home for anyone who needs a tidy ladder and a clear title.
Work should mean more than the payslip, and the world is ready for your dreamier side.
Sit in the back row of a concert, a choir rehearsal or an evening service on your first night and let the music decide what your work is for. Write down the first image that comes, before you can talk yourself out of it.
One line is one chapter. Your map holds the whole story.

Astrologers usually read a line as strongest within a few hundred kilometres, softening as you move away. A line through the ocean is felt most on the nearest coasts.
Do I need my exact birth time?
Yes. The Earth turns a little every minute, so a time a few minutes out moves every line east or west. Use the most exact time you can find, ideally from a birth certificate.
