Venus IC line
Also called the Venus IC line. On your Wanderlines map it's the Venus underfoot line.
Where home smells like bread and the furniture finally agrees with you
The Venus IC line passes over the land where Venus lay hidden below the ground, at the nadir of your chart, in your birth minute. A lovely home, gentle family ties and a deep sense of belonging are linked with it, since Venus rests there on your relocated IC, the root of home and family.

Living on your Venus IC line
This line works from the inside out. Nobody hands you flowers at the station. Instead, a fortnight in, you catch yourself humming while you wash up, and realise the flat has started to feel like a nest. The light in the kitchen is good. The bed is right. A rug you would never have chosen at home turns out to be exactly the colour the room was waiting for.
Months in, Venus underfoot can soften old family stories. Some people find they can finally call a parent without bracing. Others build the warm home they never had, full of cushions and friends who stay too late. Gardens become a pleasure, Sunday mornings stretch out, and later life under Venus is often pictured as comfortable and well fed.
Relationships deepen at the kitchen table more than on the dance floor, and moving in together can feel natural rather than terrifying. Love here wants to nest.
Work that happens at home or makes homes lovely, from interiors to baking to running a guesthouse, sits well here.
A place you actually want to come back to is the whole gift, along with a body that finally unclenches when the front door shuts.
The harder side
Comfort can turn into a velvet trap, with weeks passing in slippers while the wider world forgets your name. Invite people over, and leave the house every day for something that is not an errand.
Visit or stay
Its gifts build slowly, so treat it as a line for a life more than a weekend. It suits anyone longing to put down roots, raise a family or grow old somewhere kind.
Somewhere to belong matters more than somewhere to impress.
Buy flowers from the nearest market on your first morning and put them in a jar before you unpack a single box. Venus underfoot likes to see that you plan to stay.
One line is one chapter. Your map holds the whole story.

What does the Venus IC line mean?
The Venus IC line passes over the land where Venus lay hidden below the ground, at the nadir of your chart, in your birth minute. A lovely home, gentle family ties and a deep sense of belonging are linked with it, since Venus rests there on your relocated IC, the root of home and family.
Is the Venus IC line good?
Yes, gently and slowly. It is less dramatic than the Venus DC or MC lines, but plenty of people who settle on it describe it as the first place that ever felt like home.
Should I live on my Venus IC line?
Its gifts build slowly, so treat it as a line for a life more than a weekend. It suits anyone longing to put down roots, raise a family or grow old somewhere kind.
How close do I need to be to my Venus IC line?
Astrologers usually read a line as strongest within a few hundred kilometres, softening as you move away. A line through the ocean is felt most on the nearest coasts.
Do I need my exact birth time?
Yes. The Earth turns a little every minute, so a time a few minutes out moves every line east or west. Use the most exact time you can find, ideally from a birth certificate.
