North Node
North Node in Sagittarius
You know a little about everything. Now go and believe something
North Node in Sagittarius wants you to land on a belief and follow it somewhere far from home. Its partner across the chart, the South Node in Gemini, is brilliant at gathering facts, keeping options open and talking round a question without committing. Meaning, travel and faith are the growth, and a truth worth living by is the prize.
What is your North Node?
Add your birth date and place, and your time if you know it. Hali finds your North Node sign, its house, and the dates of your nodal returns.
How North Node in Sagittarius feels
Count the tabs open on your phone right now. Recipes, a quiz, half an article about octopuses, three reviews of the same kettle. Here lives the Gemini South Node, a mind so quick it never has to stop anywhere long enough to commit. In conversation you can argue any side, which is brilliant at parties and exhausting at three in the morning when you cannot remember what you actually think.
The Sagittarius direction feels like closing all the tabs and choosing one door. A pilgrim's path walked in borrowed boots. A belief you would defend even when it is unfashionable. The chatter in your head slows down and something bigger starts speaking, a sense that your life is heading somewhere and that the story has a shape. Faith, in whatever form it takes, starts to feel like oxygen.
Your South Node gift
Gemini gave you wit, quick learning and the rare talent of explaining anything to anyone. Those skills become far more powerful once they serve a cause you care about.
Walking towards it
Pick one big question and read a whole book about it, slowly, without checking a single summary. Write down three things you believe about how to live, and act on one this week even if someone clever argues back. Go along to a philosophy evening, a service or a debate in a tradition you have only ever read about.
Someone who widens your world suits this placement, someone to travel, argue philosophy and grow with. Small talk will never be enough for you, so stop pretending it is.
Teaching, publishing, travel, law, philosophy and any work with a mission behind it. Information is your raw material, and wisdom is what you are here to make from it.
Progress sounds like you saying what you believe, kindly and without footnotes, instead of asking everyone else what they think.
On a clear night, step outside, find the brightest star you can see and tell it something you believe. Stars are excellent listeners and never ask for sources.
Choose a truth and walk towards it

From Hali's own calculation of the True Node. The node wobbles near the edge of a sign, so if you were born within a few days of a date here, check your chart.
