Hali respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it and how we protect it.
What we collect
Birth data. Your birth date, time and place. We need these to calculate your chart. Without them, the Service cannot function.
Account information. Your email address if you create an account. We use it for authentication and to send you information about your account.
Analytics. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool. It records aggregate page views and referral sources. It does not track individual users, does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your browsing history, device fingerprints, advertising identifiers or location data beyond what you provide as your birth place. We do not place tracking cookies. We do not build behavioral profiles.
How we use your data
Your birth data is used to calculate your chart and generate your reading. Your email is used for account management. That is all.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers. We may share data with infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery) strictly as needed to operate the Service, and only under agreements that require them to protect your data.
Data retention and deletion
Your data is stored for as long as you have an account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. Deletion is permanent. We do not keep shadow copies.
Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to user data is restricted to team members who need it to operate the Service. We review our security practices regularly.
Children
Hali is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices evolve. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
